NBT's Experience Implementing Diligent Boardbooks^®

The NBT Implementation Plan was carefully mapped out up front to insure a seamless migration from paper to electronic viewing—with no possible interruption to the flow of information to the board.

December — NBT signed up for Diligent Boardbooks. The corporate secretary's staff were amazed as they immediately began to benefit from the streamlined workflow of building, approving and publishing board-related material.

March — The staff were using Boardbooks and its powerful Printbooks feature to create and distribute conventional board and committee packages for all 3 boards and 11 committees.

April — The NBT Directors were trained—due to the ease-of-use of the system, they were trained and up and running in less than an hour.

July — By the next board meeting, the Directors had fully embraced Boardbooks and the traditional paper distribution of board and committee books ceased. NBT held its first totally electronic board meeting, using Diligent Boardbooks to present its board materials on their large boardroom projection screen.
