Architecture & Hosting

All Diligent software design and development is performed internally by Diligent employees trained in secure web development standards.

Our software is continuously tested and checked for security vulnerabilities through the software development and QA process. The system architecture has been validated and audited by third party experts to ensure that it meets both the security and scaling requirements of our clients.

Within the Data Center environment, the data is protected by several layers of security appliances and components. All operating systems and databases are maintained at each vendor's recommended revision levels for security, and are further strengthened by Diligent hardening procedures which disable and/or remove any unnecessary services.

All Boardbooks production equipment is co-located in highly secure hosting facilities. These facilities are selected by Diligent on the basis of their security, which must include 24-hour presence by security staff, two-factor physical access control, and continuously monitored CCTV surveillance.

No Diligent personnel have any access to any client data.
