To be trusted to host the sensitive Board materials of world-class companies and organizations, a provider must demonstrate that it operates to the highest security standards at all times and in all locations—which Diligent does.
With nearly ten years of experience in the Board Portal industry, Diligent Boardbooks has been carefully designed to meet the stringent security requirements of our clients, including those in the Banking, Defense and Healthcare industries.
We've built an impressively strong security infrastructure around Boardbooks, with security being a major focus in all parts of the company operations.
However, Diligent is never complacent, and is continuously engaged in testing, researching and improving security both in developing and implementing new systems and services as well as securing the operations of the company.
SAS 70 Audited
Diligent Boardbooks client databases are hosted on our SAS 70 Type II Audited Secure DBMS Servers, which are accessed by registered users via the Internet.
A copy of our most recent audit is available upon request.
The SAS 70 Audit is an important industry standard—and signifies that the Diligent security infrastructure has been through an in-depth audit of its control objectives and control activities, which includes controls over information technology and related processes, and compliance with the requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

"When I think of Diligent Boardbooks, the first thing that comes to mind is security... We know our data is secure, stored in a secure location, on Diligent secure servers."

"Our main driver for appointing Diligent was our concern about the data security risk if documents went missing in the post"
